"Okay! That's the last time I'm putting up with that stupid possum!" Roared a loud and really pissed off sounding voice.
"Hey! Kuihej! Back off of him!" Shouted an even louder voice.
The voice that had belonged to Kuihej had not seemed to like that answer. "And what are you going to do Sandu? You're such a fat freak, that you can't even walk straight sometimes!" Kuihej said in a cruel voice.
"Why you little..." Sandu begun, but he was cut off by a smaller voice.
"You better leave him alone! Sandu is way better than you! He's always going to be!" Horace, Sandu's possum "partner" jumped out from behind his bigger bodyguard.
"Horace!" Sandu said quickly. "Get back here! He'll kill you!" And no sooner than he said that, Kuihej lunged at Horace. Sandu quickly blocked the attack. Horace screamed and climbed up Sandu's back.
"Guys! Cut it out!" Prakash, the group's young leader came running over. He sighed as he looked over his band of misfits. From the little possum to the huge lion, he really had his paws full. It always seemed that someone was fighting with someone...
"No! I'm sick of those two always getting away with eveything! It's because he's a saber like you huh? Always looking out for each other! Damn it! I'm really getting tried of you!" He glares at the possum.
"Hmp! Your just a stupid, smelly, ugly lion!" Horace shot back.
"ENOUGH!" Sandu and Prakash both shouted.
"Kuihej... Let's go for a walk..." Prakash muttered. "Let's get you away from Horace for awhile."
"Whatever... I'm just sick of him." Kuihej muttered.
As the two of them walked away toward the river that they had set camp up on, Prakash talks first. "Kuihej... I'm sorry about those two."
"You better be." The lion says. 'I've had to put up with those two for far too long."
As the two approach the bank of the river, they lay down in the cool, mud next to the river. Both of the animals enjoy this spot next to rivers. They never really swim but they just sit on the bank, and can talk for hours.
"Prakash..." Kuihej begins. "I'm really getting sick of those two."
"I know... Sandu and Horace... they sure can be a handful... But you don't really hate them as much as you say you do... right?"
"Naw, I really do like Sandu, I would just never let him know that. Horace... he's a little harder to deal with at times..."
"Why are you always so mad dude?" Prakash begins...
"No reason. I just want to be." Kuihej says quickly.
"Fine... Fine... Let's just sit here for awhile"
"Sounds good to me"
And the two sit there. As sunset comes they still don't move.
The end... for now!
